    Messing with the Anti-Smoking Nazis

Thats great! Sometimes when I see the state of our society (especially in the city) I begin to wonder if I'm a 1900's male living in the 2000's.

    SoCal/LA Visit--Feb. 7th-9th

Ok, I'm going to juggle my schedule to make this work. I was planning on showing up at 9-9:30. Since it closes at 11:00 I'll try and head out earlier. This is kinda a big week for me. I have to be on business travel for next week in Salt Lake. So I better get while the gettings good.

    New Car Opinions Please

I haven't driven an American car in almost a decade. Out of those three I'd get the CTS. We joke the 300 is the poor mans Bentley and I can't get my mind around a four door remake of one of my favorite muscle cars. CTS takes my vote. In other car news. I'm thinking about trading in my S2000...

    Need public speaking advice...

All the advice that was said above is solid stuff. To add a simple small piece. When you get to the podium, or where ever you are talking. Stand for a few moments and take a breath. Just smile and breathe for a second. It often centers my mind and lets me focus.

Actor Heath Ledger is Dead at 27...

I enjoyed his work. He will be missed. As of now most sites are reporting it was a cardiac arrest. I'd like to hope that drugs played no part.

    Sir Edmund Hillary

This was on the radio yesterday. Someone stated that he was "..a true adventurer." That it wasn't about making money or sponsorships or book deals in the end. If that was today it would have been a televised event with a 30 minute program "Pepsi Presents the Everest Summit!"

    UrbEx

Nice topic, I love Urban Ex. In high school we just did it with good shoes and a big light. Now I keep a smaller camel back ready to go in my car, mostly for safety purposes but it has all my the stuff you need to for exploring. New additions have been the hand held ham radio, small camera...

    No time for cigars

I'm a big supporter of cobs as a first pipe. Saving money is one thing. But wasting money is a whole other issue. When you first start you don't have a clue what you like (or what you will stick with!) moreover, cobs don't require the break-in which all briar's require. Often the tobacco...
