Pretty good deal on some Tatuaje

I purchased some Don Pepin varieties from them a couple of times and had nothing but good experiences.  However, that was back in 2006 or 2007.  Therefore, I cannot vouch for them today being so long ago.

    Today's Smoke - 2013

Enjoying a Mi Barrio this evening, late hours.  Good smoke for the dollar.

    Today's Smoke - 2013

Sounds delicious on many fronts.  After being out of town for the week, with the wife and kids out of town still, just fired up a Cubao Maduro Churchill, Modelo, and the 5th season of Breaking Bad.  I haven't had a smoke in a while and even with the Cubao not reaching the limits of some that...

Plume or Mold - the universal question?

Good info by Backslide.    That looks like a cigar, among many that was displayed recenty at a local B&M here in Tampa; one that is VERY well respected many cigar enthusiasts in South Tampa.  They defended the cigars by explaining it was plume. I didn't argue other than saying that I knew...

Got a counterfeit, any tips for avoiding them?

Sometimes you can smoke the same cigar one night and the next evening, it doesn't same the seem. There can be so many factors at play. Before claiming it a fake, I would certainly try another, if you have one. I agree with the others that I highly doubt someone would waste their time...

    Frothy Scrotorum?!?!

Hmmm... we need to find this bastad villian 'cause he is reacking a lot of havoc lately. :0 Oh yeah, I get hit over the head with that "unbanded stick" as well. Although, I'm on to this guy as I'm pretty certain I know what it is. ;)

Just got Hit! But the guilty party is still out there...

Good point, not exactly. However, as I'm about to light one up, I don't mind doing so. ;)

Just got Hit! But the guilty party is still out there...

Just got hit this afternoon with some nice smokes - some of my favorites. However, all that I know is that the dirty work was done by someone who calls himself, Frothy Scrotorum. If anyone knows this Mr. Scrotorum, please let me know. In any event, a very nice sampling to get and quite...

What is the best padrone cigars

One more thought... although it was probably a typo, it is PADRON. ;) Not sure how much response will be had here but the bottom line is that you just can't go wrong with any Padron. Some are more special than others, however, what a brand to pick from and explore! Have fun doing just this...

A Beautiful Week Ahead... thanks PJ!

Wife and kids just left for the week on a trip to visit family up north, so the brew and cigars are offically on! Thanks to PJ (the comic), I have some FANTASTIC smokes to enjoy during this time. I found a very generous selection of smokes at my doorstep this afternoon. A BIG thanks my man...

What is the best padrone cigars

I have a box of Imperials (maduro) that I tend to favor. However, the classic line ain't too shabby either, and it will help ya' keep more in your wallet. I keep an ample supply of 2000 and 3000's in my humi. I had an executive last weekend, which is a very good stick, particularly for times...

    Different Sizes? Different tastes?

Yeah, I just had a 4.5 x 50 Camacho Triple Maduro the other night (my second that I've tried at this size) and although I still enjoyed the smoke, I definitely prefer the 11/18. Same follows for the Anejo line that I also had earlier in the week - I would take a #50 over a #48 or #49...

    Vinotemp Dispenser - any experience?

I've decided to go with a different type of dispenser/wine preserver. The reviews seem to be solid and while it's not nearly as elegant as the Vinotemp, it's a heck of a lot cheaper (roughly a hundred bucks). After I pick it up and have an opportunity to put it to the test, I'll report back...

    New to wine

Yes, they actually have several other varieties although I have not had the desire or motivation to try them but who knows, they could float your boat. They have the red table wine that i suggested along with a white, chardonnay, rose, and a moscato. I'll have to pick up a bottle of the moscato...

    New to wine

Might want to try a bottle of Menage a Trois (referred to as a table wine). I wouldn't characterize it as sweet, but fairly good at it's price point... about 8-9 bucks depending on where you look. My wife doesn't like red wines but likes this bottle; one of the few red wines that she will...

    Vinotemp Dispenser - any experience?

Appreciate the info. I know this sucker is expensive, but I love the idea of being able to keep 4 bottles on hand and fresh for weeks - not that it would take me that long to finish them. :) This kind of system would help me justify spending more occasionally on a REAL good bottle of wine...

Anyone Need A Wine Fridge Humi?

This is not my area of expertise, but I believe it could still work just not ideal because you will have larger swings in humidity... I think. You would have to do something about the temperature as well, but as I remember from looking into this a long time ago, there is a way around it by...

Anyone Need A Wine Fridge Humi?

$148?? Heck of a price for a wine cooler, even one that has mixed reviews. According to one review, upper 50's is the warmest it will go.
