I did a little bit of research on this and JFK was wanting to exempt Cigars from the embargo in the first place. The Cigar manufacturers in Florida all objected (and they apparently have some pull). I don't see why it would be any different these days. Concerning the lifting of the embargo...

You just need to make the humidor a project for your class, kill two birds with one stone!

So I had this old "Ice Cube" cooler sitting around. Noticed I was running out of room in my 'regular' humidor and remembered all the posts on coolidors. Decided to make good use of this Igloo. Prepped it a couple weeks ago and now stuffing it full. It has a little storage container on the lid...

That's my go-to shop as I work right down the road. Yea they have a big selection but I've found them to be a bit on the expensive side. It's OK for my samples but no way I'd buy a box from them. I don't drink so I've never benefited from the lounge but I can see the appeal, it's pretty nice...
