    BBQ Herf **edited for details.***

OK. I've made up my mind. The wife and I will be there. Should be there for the whole thing...tent in hand. Can't wait.

    BBQ Herf **edited for details.***

Aug 18-20....hmmmmmm. The first Central Virginia Herf (sponsored by one of the local tobacconists) is slated to take place that weekend in Charlottesville (well, actually Crozet, but that doesn't count). This is a tough one. Honestly, I'd much rather come smoke cigars with you bunch of yahoos...

    RTDA Herf

I arrive the night of the 14th and leave around noon on the 20th. Other than trying to fit in a couple of shows, I should be available to herf most evenings. I know of at least one other herf being organized on another board, but they don't have a venue as of yet.

    Responsibility of the FOG's.

JEALOUS?? Are you F%$&ing kidding me? What the hell am I jealous about? That you and CC run around talk smack like a bunch of grade schoolers. Or maybe I am jealous about the way that you take yourselves so very seriously on the boards. ??? Maybe I'm jealous because I can't get any good...

    BBQ Bombs AWAY!

I just love the idea of "smoked-meat bombs." Especially when one lands in my mailbox. Fantastic!! Thanks, brother.

    Responsibility of the FOG's.

Bill, you could have just let it go after my last post. If you read it well, I was pretty easy going about everything. But, you couldn't...predictably. You had to come and tell me that my post was a crock of BS. That's OK. I don't have a thin skin. I've heard a lot worse. :0

    Responsibility of the FOG's.

Wow, less than 24 hours and look at the number of posts. CC, we are going to just have to agree to disagree on the whole spelling thing. I think it is a petty thing to do. You believe it is mentoring. You won't change the way I think about it and I don't think I'll be changing the way you...

    Responsibility of the FOG's.

George, you overuse the "winky" smiley. As for your comment about nominating LC-Smoker as a FOG...he is a much better choice than many that I can think of. ;) And yes, he and others are doing a fine job of keeping eye on things. Neal, what agenda do you speak of? That is a vague...

    Going to be in Boston

Yep, Cigar Masters is the place on Boylston Street. Why don't we meet up at Churchills around 530-6 on the evening of the 30th? I might be able to sneak out on the 31st as well, but that will be more last minute. Check your PMs.

    Going to be in Boston

I was thinking about doing Cigar Masters in the afternoon (around 2-5) and then maybe Churchills in the early evening. What say ye?

    Bernheim Original

Nice reviews, guys. I recently had the opportunity to try this whiskey while down in South Carolina. Very nice drink, though I don't think it will be replacing any of my staples anytime soon. Good on a hot day due to the lightness and dryness on the palate. Will be interested in trying later...

    Going to be in Boston

I am going to be in Boston, MA on business on May 30 through Jun 1. Would like to see if there are members in the area that would like to get together for a cigar or three. I will be arriving around 1 pm on the 30th and will have that afternoon and evening open. I will also most likely be...

    Orlando next week

I am going to be in Orlando on vacation next week. I will be there from Sunday, 14 May until the afternoon of Thursday, 18 May. Would love to get together for a cigar or four with some of the local (or not so local) BOTLs. Was thinking Corona Cigar Company (southern location), but am pretty...

Fantastic review, Wilkey. I look forward to hearing about the rest of them.

    Recommend me a smoke please

The two most "floral" Habanos that I have smoked are the Quai d'Orsay Corona Claro and the Hoyo de Monterrey Petite Robusto. Both are straight up medium bodied.

Cigar Close Out They Must Go!

I thought his prices on the Montesinos seemed a little high to be "cost" as well. However, it might well be what he paid for them. Even if he has a Fuente account, does not mean that he bought the cigars from them. It is possible that he bought them from a distributor like HJ Bailey or Arango...
