    Baltimore, MD Herf

Most definitely there! Will be bringing my Mate. Probably a cigar-smoking buddy as well. Guess that makes three of us from C'ville. Have not talked to LC about it. I think Jingles will make it as well. He's in DC now. (well, Northern VA).

    Nullsmurf!

Brothers, if you ever head to Denver, I hope you have the pleasure of meeting up with Bruce (Nullsmurf). I did and am thankful for it. Hospitality? Well, let's see. Bruce picked me up at the airport and had a VSG Enchantment waiting in the truck for me. Lit it up as we headed over to a...

    What did you smoke today

Last night I smoked an SLR PC from 00 and a Punch Royal Selection No. 12 from 02. Tonight is poker night...don't know what I will be smoking yet. Nothing too good...can't have my mind pulled away from the game. :p Of course, I also don't want to pull my mind away from a really good cigar...

Sounds great to me. Looking forward to it. OK everyone, let's hear it. Who is making this herf? Just thought I would edit this to say that my Mate will be joining me on this herf. And yes, she does smoke cigars  . Usually better ones than me. :p

    Trinidad Robusto Extra (Cuba)

You're not crazy...this cigar just matches your palate. I did not match mine. I have read some reviews of this cigar from folks that absolutely loved it. You, I assume would be among them. That's the great thing about the variety of cigars on the market...something for everyone.

An Avo Dinner and a Cigar Event

I have not been to one of these events, but I have heard Avo and his trio play several times. They are fantastic. If you've not met him, he is a true gentleman of the cigar world. A very nice person. Just from what I know of Avo and Davidoff and the events that they typically throw...I'd...

Wondering the same thing. Any movement on this herf? I can do either date, but need to put one or the other on the calendar. Also, it is getting close, so are there any other thoughts on where to meet, where to smoke, where to eat?

    Trinidad Robusto Extra (Cuba)

This describes my experience with the Coloniales. Just did nothing for me. Now the Fundadores...that is different story altogether. Great review, BTW. Keep'em coming.

    Bolivar PC - Mold?

Like Gaman said, just water spots. Only an aesthetic problem. Will not affect the smoke, burn, or taste one iota. No need to send them back IMHO. The vendor did not replace the cigars, because there was no need to. You should enjoy them.

    New regional cigars from Cuba

I'm with, brother. Enough of this regional blah blah blah market crap. Bring back the Upmann Super Corona. Bring back the Punch SS #2. :p

    2006 Habanos Release News

From the information that I have found, release dates for the regional releases should be around June or July. Have not gotten anything on the ELs. the PL Lonsdales might be a little hard to score, but I'm sure you can get hooked up with them if you try. The only problem with the Cohiba...

    2006 Habanos Release News

There has never been a Ramon Allones Estupendo in production. It is going to be a 7x47 Julieta 2 vitola. It will be available only in the Asia-Pacific region and those served by PCC. If you are a churchill smoker, this is one that I would be looking for as well.

    To the MEMBERS of cigarpass

George...don't worry, my dog is still in it's kennel. ;) However, I want to add an alternative view and/or approach. This is just from MY point of view, not a suggestion to change things. With respect to the first part of the quoated material above, you are right no one does know what goes...

I'm open for any or all of the above. Like AVB said, your herf, you pick. :D BTW, the Explorer's Lounge is in the Harbor Court Hotel. If anyone wants a good steak dinner and a cigar, there is always Shula's Steakhouse. They have a fantastic smoking lounge/bar area, pool table, and serve...

    Newbie question: Maduro search...

Doh! You beat me to it. I second the LGC Serie R and Reserva Figurados. Hell, I'll even through in the Torpedo No. 1, Charlamagne, and Corona Gorda from the regular line. Fantastic if you have the patience to age them. As for others, I'd try the Oliva O Maduro and the JR Ultimate in Double...

    Responsibility of the FOG's.

Very well said, Harris. I truly appreciate this post. There are a lot of great folks on this board. I've met a few of you, have plans to meet more of you in the near future, and hope to meet a lot of you in the farther future. We've shared some great cigars, laughed, shared stories, etc...
