    Mr. Moreno had passed

I finally got to try the Liga II that I received from MX a few days ago and was very pleasantly surprised.  I hadn't even heard of MCW before then.  I'm glad that I had a chance to try his cigar.

CA names Montecristo No 2 top cigar of 2013

Lol. Don't tkae this the wrong way, but I found it a little funny how you mention that your preference is for Dominicans, and you found the Cubans to be awesome, but you would rather be smoking Nicaraguans.

    Elliptical Accuracy?

It's just a ballpark estimate.  You also have to understand that the more you do of one workout, the more efficient your muscles' going to get at doing that particular workout and less calories it's going to burn.

Are 70% HF beads really 65%?

Nah.  I notice my HF 70% evens out at 67%.  Glad I didn't get the 65%.  I prefer my cigars on slightly more moister side.

    Confused About Wineadors

Compressor vs Thermoelectric I think if you have a way of dealing with humidity drops, it doesn't really matter which one you go with.  I went with a thermoelectric model since I got it for a deal ($1 on ebay), it seemed like less of a hassle, and the thermoelectric models looks prettier to me...

    Giving Up the Hobby

A little weird saying this on a smoking forum.. If cigar's gotta go, they gotta go.  Smoking isn't worth sacrificing health over.

    Twigs/stems inside cigars

In a cigarobsession video, Padron apparently replies that it is normal for them to have stems in their cigars.   For me, Padron is pretty much the epitome of excellent construction and flavor.  If they're good with it, I'm good with it.  As long as it smokes well and tastes good, I have no issues.

    Buying used humidor?

If you really want to start off with very little expense, go with a tupperware like mentioned above.  Very cheap and most likely better than cheap chinese humidors.   If heat is an issue, like Pugman stated, a wine cooler is an option, although it is a bit of an investment.   If heat is an issue...

Half Smoked Cigar Back in Humidor

Ouch.  That hurts.   Like jfields wrote, it may be better to chuck it and start over if the smell is going to bother you.  Smell may go away after a long period of time, but I wouldn't hold my breath.   The cigars will probably taste fine.  I would try one and if it tastes okay, buy a tupperware...

    Directv

Yup.  Cut the cord as well about 4 years now.  I go with digital bunny ears and an old spare pc plugged to the tv.

    Buying used humidor?

Sure, if they have a good return policy...   Do the standard dollar test. Look for warping in the cedar. Look for any signs of mold. Don't buy glasstops.

It Was Just a Matter of Time...

I'm curious about this cigar too.  Always wondered why no one else has done this before.  As I understand the embargo laws, another country can buy cuban tobacco, roll it in their country and sell it as their own product and US would be able to buy it.

    Crawfish Boil

Does everyone in your party do the abdomen suck? Do you enforce it or just let them eat tail only if they want? I'm asking because some of my friends and family finds it gnarly and told me that they wouldn't do it... but it would be hard for me not to invite them but invite others.

    Girl Gun Help

Personally not a fan of revolvers for ccw... but confidence in what you carry is important.   A few tips that I learned when living in Florida... (Forget about ccw in SoCal). -Don't underestimate weight of a ccw firearm.  Weight is a double edged sword.  A heavy gun tames heavier loads (you...
