Funny you mention tax refund, ruger sp101 and laser grips all in the same post! Thats exactly what some of my refund is going for!

I have a .17 HMR in a bolt action. Fun little caliber! I use it for the closer prairie dogs and to let my barrel on my other rifles cool down. Congrats, if you find a good deal on ammo for it, please let me know! :whistling:

I like mine. There are lighter guns out there but Ruger makes a fine revolver and the sp101 is supposed to be ablt to handle the abuse of +P rounds if so choose to shoot them.
