If you buy a decent used gun at a fair price, you should do fine if you need to resell it.  If you are not sure about the sport, I wouldn't recommend spending $2-3k on a gun.  You can get used Berettas and Brownings for $1-2k that would serve you well.  I would suggest getting at least 28" tubes...

The local watering hole had a barrel of Goose Island Bourbon County Barleywine on tap.  It was damn smooth for a 14-15% ABV brew!!

Moose's Tooth in Anchorage has some great pizza choices, and great beer selection.  Really enjoyed it.  Did NOT try The Avalanche.    Beau Jo's in Fort Collins, CO was awesome.  Again, good beer choice in Fort Collins.
