    Best place to buy charcoal...

It is a consistent temp. I use the minon method and I find that the varying sizes of the lump charcoal sometimes makes them hard to catch fire. I just seem to do better with briquettes. I run sand in the water bowl instead of water. I have a Pro Excel 22 inch.

    Best place to buy charcoal...

Nimrod, See if you can find Stubbs briquettes. They unlike Kingfords are an all natural charcoal briquette. Much better taste. I also struggled with temp contol with lump in by vertical smoker, but lobe the Stubbs briquettes. I get them @ lowes.

    Newbie Pass 101

Ilikefishes, Yes I took the Anjeo # 46. Sorry :D I wasn't able to find a suitable new box for the pass either. If you happen to have a 12/12/10 box you might think about replaceing the current one. It's not in two bad of shape, but is starting to show it's age.

    Newbie Pass 101

Okay here are my proposed puts and takes. Take: Anejo # 46 $8.25 Put: Padron 1964 principe natural $8.66. My concern with this one is that there is already a 1964 principe maduro in the pass. I don’t think that this would be considered a double, but I am not 100% sure. It may be a...
