It was a Padron weekend! Over the last two days I had a 3000, a 5000, a 1964, and just wrapped up with a 1926 # 6. All very satisfying.

I also haven't brewed in about 18 months. Sitting outside this morning with a Padron 5000 in the wonderful cooler fall weather got me to eying the brewing equipment siting on the shelf. I do believe it it its time, and the better half is asking for some west cost pale ale. I will have to see...

This morning a Alex Bradley Black Market robusto Afternoon was a Padron 3000 This evening a Padron 1964 exclusivo. This was simply an outstanding smoke. I see a box of these in my future.

I do meatloaf and it is outstanding. I also do hambugers, fatties, Atomic buffalo turds. Almost anything can be somked.

Tonight's smoke was a Padron 5000 bought by mistake. Damn low light in the walk in humi and my decreasing eyesight! Thought I bought a fiver of 3000's but grabbed 5000's by mistake. Oh well I truly enjoyed the 5000 and as a bonus I have 4 more to smoke!!

As BBS and Doc say I have to work on slowing down while smoking these. Of course I am a newbie, but just slowing down has made a huge difference in my smoking enjoyment. I am with BBS as well on the 3000, I just like the size better. The 3000 is fast becoming my daily smoke.

I agree with Kari. I wouldn't do it. I would think that you have to overcome serious sealing issues to make it function as a humidor. edit for spelling.

I vote for the troops as well. Lord knows they need a little distraction from their daily work!

I went with a San Cristobal Papagayo last night. It was a good cigar, despite the fact that the draw was a litlle tight. It loosend up in the last third.
