The Grand Reserve benefits from age.....hell, it needs it. Grab a few bottles and stash them away. They say it can be aged for 8-10 years, which is pretty incredible for a beer. Have you tried the Cinq Cents?

On the upside, a lot of really good stuff flies under the radar. For example, I just scored a box of Camacho Corojo 07/05's for $67. :cool:

Well, I screwed that one up. I've noticed a trend in the Antanos....all that I've had are super tight at the head, unlike any other cigar I've seen. From the shoulder up, they're hard as a rock. This causes a tight draw. So after I snipped the cap on this one, I decided to loosen it up a bit...

I'm hoping it goes to VII, VIII or therabouts. Should be getting really interesting by then. ;)

It amazes me how these "Rolls Royce of Cigars" normally wind up getting blown out on CI for Kia prices. They do make some good ones, but even those are nothing to rave about, and sure as hell aren't worth their inflated MSRP (in my experience, anyway). I'm not saying they're turning out total...

I'm generally not a fan of mild smokes, but I had a K. Hansotia Symphony torpedo a while back that was pretty good. They may be under the Gurkha label now.

I've got a box that I keep around for when I'm in the mood for something milder. They're a nice vitola, pretty tasty and burn well, but for some reason, to me they smell nasty. I usually have one after a stronger smoke like a Padilla Miami, Antano, etc, and intermingled with those, the smell is...

Just to clarify....alcohol in beer comes from the fermentaiton of maltose, which is extracted from malted grains. The hops are added mainly to add bitterness, and AFAIK, add nothing to the alcohol content. Off topic I know, but I couldn't pass it up. Good info, BT :thumbs:

I got mine for the same price at Wal Mart. I'd love to have one of the 120's, but having the two 48's is an effective way to cap my spending. When they're full, I don't buy more cigars! Nice setup, CS! :thumbs:
