    Humidor Problems

Same here...I just e-mailed Viper to ask him if using 75% RH beads will make a difference. I' using 65% now. I looked last night for a large "Tupperware" contianer, big enough to hold my humi with an air tight seal but I didn't find any :( . So I wait for Viper... :D ...

    Humidor beads issue

I'm having the same problem too, but my smokes now are only at 58%RH  . It just might be do to the season change/temperature drop. I will have to check the seal on mine as well. McKenzie

    Sudden drop in RH

Thanks GKR! This is definitely a big help. Rather than buying another humi because "our" 100/150 count became too small, this will solve two problems at once. Happy Thanksgiving! C&R

    Sudden drop in RH

Jeffro600, my beads are pretty soaked already, crystal clear. I'm wondering if I should put a small cup of distilled water inside the humi and remove the beads for awhile. C&R

    Sudden drop in RH

Can anyone offer a reason why I have had a 6-8 % drop in my humi? It is a 100 count humidor containing about 30 sticks. I recently moved it from my basement to my master bedroom due the winter months coming. I had a cigar which was gifted to me which happend to be freshly rolled, I then had...

    Montecristo Edmundos Vs. No 2

Orangeman, take the plunge! The Monte'#2 is a must have. The Monte's have this twangy flavor which is very unique. Worst case scenario, if you don't like them, you wouldn't have any trouble getting rid of them! C&R p.m. if you make the purchase and wind up not liking them. :whistling:

    Montecristo Edmundos Vs. No 2

I'm glad I only bought a "fiver", 'cause the one which I had so far was fantastic! But then again, it could have been the JD&Coke I had to go along with it :D . Go with the #2's, they are a fantasitic smoke! C&R

    Tar build up

MilesMingusMonk suggested I purge after every eight or so puffs of your cigar. This cuts down of the build up of tar in your cigar. Blow thru the cigar instead of drawing in. Also maintian a good long ash on the cigar for as possible so it keeps the cherry cool producing a much creamier smoke...

    Proper smoking technique

Ekins, let just a little smoke thru the nose. I exhale maybe 75% of the smoke thru the mouth then the last 25% thru the nose. McKenzie
