Too bad on the fake. What color and wording is in the band? It may be that you are smoking a Cohiba Republica Dominincan yellow band, which aren't fake. They just aren't very good.

In my opinion some of the best $2 smokes out there are: Indian Tabac Classic Maduro Drew Estate La Vieja Habana Punch Rothschild Maduro These are some of the cigars that I started off smoking and still enjoy them now.

AF Short Story and Punch Rare Corojo Rothschild are mine for the specified shape and length of time to smoke, usually 30 minutes on the Short Story and 35-40 on the Punch RC.

Thanks for the insight BBS, I followed your advice and managed to get the humi RH% up to a satisfactory level by utilizing the humis credos in combination with the 65% beads. Things have been holding steady at about 68% since.

I may have to sign back up for the Cigar of the Month at CI if they are sending out Centurian Double-X's. As you said they are generally a pretty pricy smoke.
