since no one seems to like Michael Slade but me, is there any love for Tad Williams?

I am currently reading the HUGE Otherland series and enjoying it...anyone else read it yet?

Tad Williams is great, in particular the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series. Not much of a sci-fi reader so don't know much about any of his sci-fi books, but his fantasy stuff is great!

I have read the "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn" series a long time ago.
It was really great. If you enjoy sci-fi and fantasy, I would highly recommend it.

i believe i have read everything he has written(up to "war of the flowers").

one of the authors i look for every time i am in a bookstore.

my alltime favorite is still "tailchasers song".

"otherland" i read one year apart as they were published...!!what a great read!!

derrek :)

Renie and Xabbu are running around in the Post-Apocalyptic Wizzard of Oz simulation...I am really digging these books...about half way through book two

I read about the first 30 pages of the first Otherland book. It seemed interesting. But other things came up and it kind of got set on the shelf. I might pick it up again after I am done reading a few other books.
