    El Mejor Esperesso

These aren't infused, if that's what you're thinking. No coffee flavor added, at least according to the literature. Haven't tried one myself, though the pic in the CI catalogue always looks tastey.

    Smoking with a head cold

I had a similar response. When I wasn't able to smoke them, I found myself more interested in talking about them and shopping for them. Dangerous.

A suggestion for the DEALS board

Just a quick thought as I was looking through the hot deals board - it'd be nice to separate the vendor ads from the tips from other posters. A hot tip on a good deal from a neutral poster is a whole lot more interestng than a post about some deal (that's really no deal) from a vendor. Don't...

    Smoking with a head cold

Went out yesterday with a Gurkha, feeling like the congestion had passed and I was ready to go (had been more than a week since my last). Went with the Gurkha because it's a decent enough stick to enjoy, but not so good that I'd feel bad about putting it out early. Was a disaster. The thing...

    Smoking with a head cold

Yeah, pretty much my feelings. Luckily, things are clearing up nicely and I'll be able to get one in today. Been over a week, so I'll grab for something good.

    Smoking with a head cold

Damn, I haven't had a cigar in almost a week. Caught a head cold and between a sore throat, congestion, and a completely muted sense of taste, I haven't smoked a single stick. It got me to wondering, does anyone smoke when they're really stuffed up and sick? I was gazing longingly at a Padron...

Know About Victor Sinclair and Indian Tabac?

Cigars International used to run a promo where you buy a box of RP Connecticut and you got a 20-count sampler (essentially 40 sticks for the price of a box). Keep your eyes open to see if that promo comes around again. You can end up having those sticks at less than $2 a pop. You might also...

If you never bought another cigar?

I'd probably make it through summer. Maybe to the end of the year if I conserved a bit.

    15 minute cigar

I had a box of Bolivar petite coronas last summer that were quite good for around a buck a stick. They smoke more like 25-30, but ... FWIW

Know About Victor Sinclair and Indian Tabac?

Probably a wise choice - buying a box of cigars with a questionable reb when you've never tasted one may not be the best idea. And hey, just realized you're from my neck of the woods. I'm about 15 miles south of you.

Know About Victor Sinclair and Indian Tabac?

Indian Tabac is a decent cigar. Not spectacular by any stretch, but certainly servicable. Tastes vary, of course, but the general consensus is that Victor Sinclair isn't worth the time.

    What did you smoke today

Today smoked a Gurkha Regent that tasted great but burned like crap.

    1970's RyJ Corona

Thanks for the pics & the play-by-play. An interesting read. I almost got the sense that you didn't think too highly of it - am I off in that interpretation?

    Indian Tabac Classic cigars...

You're a Padron whore. But that's okay, you're not alone. As for the Indian Tabac classics, I got a fiver on C-Bid not too long ago and find that they're acceptable cigars. Pleasant taste, though not a slap-my-ass-and-call-me-Sally taste. For the price range, they're fair.
