Gents...this is a Chocolate BOCK, not a stout or a porter. A bock is a lager, stouts and porters are ales. I'm not saying this beer is the be-all-to-end-all, it certainly isn't. But saying that Young's Double Chocolate Stout or some other cocoa-infused ale is better than this is really comparing...

First, it's ultrasonic waves (sound), not an electrical current...glass isn't a very good conductor (it's an insulator). From what I can tell this is just a gimmick to get the "draught-quality" taste from a canned beer...much along the lines of what they did with the widget. My guess is the gas...

You're not enough of a hophead to appreciate the Hallertau Imperial Pilsner, which I think is pretty damn good. The Holiday Porter and Old Fezziwig are nice seasonals, too.

Just came home with my case yesterday! I am splitting it 3 ways, though, but I got the PA case discount price w/ no ridiculous mark up. How's that for issues?

I'll be using the day while the bird's in to finish off the last of my harvest and pumpkin ales, but I'll definitely be pouring ST Pumking with my wife's famous pumpkin soup (or maybe I should hold it for dessert?), and something nice and malty with dinner. I'm thinking Pennichuck "The Big O".
