    My Cabinet Humi Project

I haven't thought too deeply about it yet, but thought about just a tight dry fit. I don't want to impart the smell or taste of any glues out gassing. The fans would then be secured to the cabinet frame and not the PVC. The PVC I'm not totally sold on yet because of the plastic smell. Though I...

    Used Cigar

I stick mine in a plastic baggie, and smoke it the next day. Make sure you keep it OUT of your humi, it will still impart the stank of an ashtray. I don't even leave it in the house...I keep it in my garage.

    Vintage Coleman

This may help with the picture thing: http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/index.php?...E=01&HID=17 You need to upload your photos to CP or another picture/web host and then post the image URL in your post. if your using beads and have enough cigar boxes for 'aroma', then you need not use spanish...

    Cigar iPhone apps

X2 I've had this on my iPhone for a couple of months. An OK app, but work in progress. I emailed the developer about a couple of recommendations, but got no reply. It should really have a BUY/SMOKE button so you can easily update your quantities. On the plus side...it does have many cigars in...

    Bobalu Double Maduro Torpedo

Could be the case, but this only had one wrapper. I did read somewhere that double maduro can mean the color of the wrapper, but I think this is wrong.

    Bobalu Double Maduro Torpedo

I see you're in Brussels now...are you Belgian? If so I must say that Swiss chocolate and German beer is better! ;) JK, I used to fly with some Belgian guys in Europe and they would get all worked up when I told them that! :sign: BTW a quick update: I took apart the nub to "take a look...

    Bobalu Double Maduro Torpedo

I spent July 4th away from my family for work, which isn't unusual, but I was able to hit my first boutique cigar shop...Bobalu in Austin, TX. I didn't have any intention of going there that afternoon, especially when it was 105 degrees outside. This WI boy was very much content on being in my...

    Burning Leaf Fine Cigars

I'm not anyway associated with them...just wanted to say that they have very good prices for a B&M. I was visiting the Columbus area during a training event and decided to stroll down there. They also have some sticks that are hard to find. If anyone is visiting the downtown Columbus area...

    My Cabinet Humi Project

Here's updated plans for my cabinet humi: I have the doors done and now I'm in the process of building the frame. This cabinet will be in-wall with custom microprocessor controlled active humidification, and circulation fans. It's designed to fit between two 16" OC wall stud cavities (30 1/2"...

    Anyone live near Austin, TX?

You make it to Austin yet? Spending the night downtown tonight for the first time. Very nice place, and 6th street is very nice. Though, as previously stated, there does seem to be a homeless problem there and it's hot as hell! I think it made it 101 today, and this Cheesehead isn't used to...

    Padron 1926 #35 Maduro

Looks like a great smoke! I've been looking for a good quick smoke...this might do the trick. My wife is always waiting for me to finish...um? :0 However, after reading this I'm jonesin' for a smoke. I left for work on Tue and forgot to pack some sticks in my mad rush to get out of the house...

    EL porn....

I went through CDG in Paris about a 6 months ago, wanting to pick up some Montis. However, the duty free humidor had this ridiculous vaporizing humidifier that was more for looks than anything. The humidity seemed ok overall, but the Montis were right under this vaporizer. I made the lady crack...

    Custom Humidifier - Microprocessor Controlled

This is going to be an in-wall custom cherry cabinet lined with spanish cedar, so I can easily hide things behind the wall and outside the cabinet. The temp and humidity sensors will be concealed, on the back of the cabinet, and you won't be able to see them with boxes in front. The fans I...

    Custom Humidifier - Microprocessor Controlled

You're absolutely right about the beads...set it and forget it. They seem to do the job very well, but I want to make something that has a seamless appearance...nothing that clutters up a custom humi and takes up a bunch of space. This system should be pretty reliable though.
