    RyJ Short Churchill

Just finished smoking my first of these. Unknown box date. Started very mild, maybe too mild. By the 2nd third the flavor had built into wonderful smooth flavors of creamy coffee and chocolate notes. By the last third had developed into a medium-full smoke of creamy coffee. Very good. Gotta get...

    What's Your Latest Purchase

I picked up a box of the 3000 maduro's in 2004 as one of my 1st box purchases. Still have 3 or 4 left from the box. In all these years they haven't let me down and with 4 or 5 years age on them they are exceptional.

    Habanos for the Spainish market

Doh! I don't see that happening with me. Spain or bust!

    Habanos for the Spainish market

Rather than start a new thread I'm going to resurrect this one. I'll be heading to Spain soon and looking for cigar shop recommendations. The cities where I will have shopping opportunities include Madrid, Granada and Seville. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Also, any price lists...

    Illusione CG:4, Hmmm

All of my long term storage is at ~65% humidity with short term storage closer to 60%. Everybody has made good points. I'm pretty confident my next experience will be improved, in a month or so. They are great cigars when on. Thanks for the comments!

    Illusione CG:4, Hmmm

I've previously had a couple CG:4's and one Holy Lance. Loved them all so decided on a box of the CG:4's. Received it a week ago and looked and smelled fantastic. Dark wrappers and barnyard smell. The other night I smoked the first one from the box and this smoke was STRONG. I'm talking body...

Rec'd the OK to go to Cuba

Agreed that the island will never be the same once travel restrictions are lifted. I'm not so sure that's going to happen any time soon, though. Good luck on your attempt. Would be a great experience. Let me know if you need someone to come along and carry your luggage.

Coronas Gordas and Robusto . . . you pick

Way to think outside the box! I change my vote to two boxes of Mag 46s!!

Coronas Gordas and Robusto . . . you pick

    x2. Very different smokes, though.

    Travel to Cuba

I too would be hoping to get down there ASAP after restrictions are lifted. My expectation is that once the embargo lifts the dollars will begin flowing and the concrete pouring which may well spoil the character of many places. Of course the people living in those places will likely welcome the...

What have you been reading lately?

Nope. Just reread it and nobody dies. Currently reading Tales of the Alhambra by Washington Irving. Not my style normally but I will be visiting the Alhambra soon and wanted to learn a little about it.

CIGARS ARE BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH

This guy is full of crap. Every real study I've ever read on cigar smoking indicated that 1 cigar a day or less has negligible negative health impact. As far as addiction goes I regularly go 2 or 3 days without a cigar and feel no craving. As far as erectile dysfunction goes, my wife might...

    Visiting Seattle tomorrow

Smokey Joe's is sweet. The Lit Cigar Lounge in the Snoqualmie Casino, although smaller, is also nice. http://snocasino.com/index.php#/10/

About a year ago, all I heard about were...

I've been working my way through a box of Coronado Corona Especial's. Had one San Cristobal and didn't enjoy, although a single cigar is never a fair sampling. Never had the El Centurion.

    New Years Cigars

I recommend the El Rey Del Mundo Rectangulares, natural, for newer smokers. Medium bodied, tasty and best of all, can be had for $2 and change. As for myself, still haven't figured what I'm smoking. Haven't thought about it much yet.

    What pets do you have?

I have an Australian Cattle Dog mix, named Tanner, rescued from the humane society. Very intelligent, loyal and fun loving dog. Goes most anywhere with me.

    Ramon Allones Specially Selected 2005

Nice pics. That cigar's appearance has a lot of character. Unfortunately, I've never seen the light on the RASS. I've got a couple left. I'll have to pull one out and see if this has changed for me. And TFTR!
