Propylene Glycol Concentration for 65% RH

No idea bro but I do know that 50/50 PG solution is supposed to regulate humidity around 70% but never was all that effective for me.. I started believing it was a gimmic, dropped it and bought myself some hassle free beads. In my experience the PG added a slight taste to the cigars and gave...

    Newest member to the family

That dog's gorgeous I have seven of them and I can't seem to stop loving them. I can't understand why any one would give up their pup to a shelter I don't think any reason can justify abandoning a dog... so what's the physical disability you speak of?

Humidor's temp is usually in the low-mid 70's -- that OK?

In my experience it is excess humidity along with high temperatures that causes the beetles to hatch. As long as you have the humidity sufficiently controlled you shouldn't face any problems. I can't afford to leave my air conditioning running just to maintain the sticks at 70F so my humidor...

Extreme variance in humidity by inches

I don't know if you calibrated your hygrometers but I recommend you should they might be off... In my humidors I've noticed a hygrometer placed on the top tray will read higher than the one on the bottom this can be explained by the upper hygrometer being closer to the humidification unit...

Good luck bro! I hope you and your wife get what you want without much hassle. I am a lawyer however I do not practice in the US so am not familiar with the laws to give you an opinion. However I do think and any judge with any sense should agree that in the present case the child has...

Need help from a vet or a pet owner

There's recently been an outbreak of the polyoma virus amongst the birds on my farm and I am unable to find the vaccine locally. I used to import the vaccine however the vet who used to supply the vaccine to me has recently retired so I am without a source. I'm in desperate need of the vaccine...

    How accurate are these things

Thanks for the replies guys I salt tested the unit and its off by +2. I figure the accuracy on the adjustable digital units is +/- 2 even after calibration so this one is pretty close to being spot on as it gets. Plus I'm never really sure with the salt test I guess you can never be too accurate...

Nat Sherman Cigar Case..What's it made of?

I'm guessing either snake skin or lizard skin. I'm leaning towards lizard since I think snake skin would have larger scales.. MRSP say around $30?

    How accurate are these things

Hey guys I recently bought one of these http://www2.oregonscientific.com/shop/prod...=5&pid=379# and am curious if any one else would know how accurate the remote units are. Any one here use of these? Should I salt test it or are they pretty accurate? Thanks in advance

    I've run into a problem

My experience with the adjustable digital hygrometers hasn't been very pleasant. I've noticed that the RH reading tends to fluctuate with temperature changes. e.g. if you calibrated your digital hygro at 70F when the temperature increases or falls the RH reading will fluctuate accordingly. When...
