I got the pass yesterday, but was unable to do anything with it due to my mom being in the hospital. I'll go thru everything tonight and, if you guys approve my P/T's, ship out tomorrow. I'm really new to this so don't beat me up to bad if I screw this up, I will most defiantly not be offended...

I was just curious how many fellow emergency workers there were on here. I work as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, and EMT in Minnesota. Anyone else. BTW searching for EMS comes up with quite a few false results :) Tom

After having just gone thru this, I would say to put the Seasoning Packets in for a little longer. I left mine in until they seemed almost flat. I put my beads in after about 15 days, and then added my smokes. I would guess I left the packets in for a total of 25 days, and after I took them...

I'm all set for the pass, and still calculating my P/T's. I know from his posts that Bilder is a pipe smoker, so I'll leave that in there for him, but if anyone has one that they want to get off their hands, I would love to do a trade. I've been wanting to get into pipes for a while now...

I have a question. Do most people ship the cigars inside of Tubos?? I was shipped one and it kind of rattled around in there and the wrapper was a little damaged. What is the normal protoco?? Tom

I'm pretty sure that it is glue. It runs from the joint where the tray is put together and runs down from several spots about 6 inches long. I think if it were from sap it would have more of a central spot it came from.

Well this does make me feel a little more comfortable. I was worried that I got a piece of crap. One more question I have is, how strong of a cedar smell do new humidors usually have?? I like the smell, but it's pretty strong, I'm worried that my cigars will wind up tasting like pure cedar...
