What amazes me about my new home made humidor is how little water is needed. The plastic container has a volume of 4 liters, i used something like 8 ml of distilled water and that was too much - the hygrometer was reading 65-66% (which is more than 70% because is reading 5% less on wet salt...

The reset is just for the min/max values. I tested it and that is what he does. Also the same thing is written in the users manual. Anyway is not hard to remember one number :cool: Thanks for the advices. Cheers !

Thanks for the replyes guys ! For now i made a humidor from a big plastic food container, as a humidifier i used a small plastic receipe filled with paper tissues soked in distilled water. I don't worry about temperatue because it's winter :-) Maybe i will get a hygrometer to see what's going...
