I, for one, am thoroughly shocked and appalled at this sudden turn of events. Did you rub down your humidor with the lemon, and put the shot glass of cognac in?? ??? No, but I did hang a little car pine scented deodorizer.

I went into my humidor and boy did it stink. I removed that cigar. Your right. No smoke cigar is going to find its way back!! :cool:

Why?? Because I wanted to know if I can keep a smoked cigar?? I had only smoked a quarter of it, when I had to go do something. Should I take your comment personally??

Are you saying that if your cigar goes out, you throw it away??? That sure becomes an expensive hobby.

I was wondering if it was okay to put a cigar that was partially smoked back in the humidor. I cut off the burnt end of course. Would this harm the rest of the cigars?? Thanks.

I just received a replacement hygrometer from Viper and he was kind enough to open it and test it to make sure it works. Thanks a lot!!! :p :p :p

Thanks for the link. I tried changing the batteries, but that caused no change so the unit does need replacement.

Well the display I see is very bright. even though you think the batteries are dead?? I toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit and it changes quickly.

bummer he isn't there. I guess I can add 65% humidity beads without fear of having the hygrometer???

Hi, I just received my new hygrometer from heartfelt Industries and after removing the plastic film from the battery the display lit up showing two blank lines and C for celsius , two more little lines and then %. Shouldn't the display show the actual temperature and % of humidity?? Does it...

I checked mine and it is simple foam. I guess I will order the beads.
