I was always under the impression that once a cigar had dried out to the point that the oils were dried then it was a lost cause. Is this not the case or is it the general consensus that it is simple not worth the effort?

Aging cigars is something you get to do later in the hobby heh. I finally have SOME cigars that are over 6 months old but none of them are what would be considered high end at all. Those ones get smoked within a week or two tops.
