All I have are my shelves, drawers and 1 pound of Heartfelt beads. Set the temp. to 66 degrees and I haven't had to do a thing in months.

I believe it has a compressor style cooling unit, which would not be good for humidity. Compressor style coolers take humidity out. I also noted it's lowest temp. setting is 57 degrees, which is too low.

I use 1 pound of 65% without issue. I run the temp. at 66 degrees. I haven't had any drop in RH level. It has been steady 66/66.

I have 1 pound of beads in mine. 1/2 pound in a mesh bag on the bottom over the drain hole(place a piece of black electrical tape over the drain hole) and 1/2 pound in a mesh in my top drawer. I haven't found the need for extra fans. I live just across the border from you, so we have to deal...

The beads should be fine. Unless, for whatever reason your Vinotemp is acquiring excess humidity, this should just be humidity that was present. The beads should be able to absorb the moisture and redistribute it back as needed.
