Wow Moki! I thought I was doing ok when the ash on my churchills only fell off twice or three times. It doesn't surprise me about the Padron 1926, it's a pretty tight packed cigar w/awsome construction. Good job w/plenty of patience.

False, typically the maduros are picked later and aged for more flavor. Strength of cigar does not always come with the length of aging or time on the stalk.

Boy, and I thought that buying non-pre-embargo (I guess that makes them embargo) cigars were expensive! Well, I'll have to get a really better job to pay for a box of those.

I've had a few '02's and they were pretty good. I've still got a few left aging. Definitely get better with time (as most Cuban cigars). I also am picking up a box of '04's and will report on status.

I agree w/psyktek about the Cuaba's. I had a Diadema which is like a Monte A in size. Right now it is the best Cuban cigar I've ever had. If you can get your hands on a Cuaba go for it! Like any other thing though is to try as many different Cubans you can get to determine what your own...
