I'm a PAM torpedo lover but have smoked several Camacho Diplomas and found them to be very enjoyable, though I too experienced the strange bitterness for the first 4 puffs but after that it was pure enjoyment.

I totally understand is you don't want a newbie in this one but I figured since maduro wrappers are my favorite, I would take a chance. Worst case scenario you say no. Trust me, my feelings wouldn't be hurt.

As for the Padrons.....nice taste. My favorite are the Padron Anniv. Maduro Torpedo. If you haven't tried them I highly recommend you do.

Did some quick research and found many smokers found the smoking less the memorable and inconsistent between cigars from the same box....
