My youngest brother was an enlisted man in the US Navy, Submariner, for 18 years. He had made it to E-6 and tested for E-7. Before he got the results, he passed on. We found out later that he would have made it. :(

My thanks (and the thanks of millions of other Americans) for his service. We appreciate it more than he may know. I have a nephew over there on his 2nd tour, a GI whose enlistment was over last August. We hope and pray to have Pvt. R. Zaza home safe soon too.

Yorkies just moved up to the number 2 position on AKC's ranking of most popular registered breeds. In doing so, it moved the Golden Retriever to 4th, and jumped ahead of German Shepards. Fiercely loyal to their owners, they also have a reputation for acting MUCh bigger than they really are...
