I just picked this up over the weekend and tried it. I really like it. Did you happen to go on their website to get your free hip flask? They had some questionaire about your scotch habits and after answering, you get a free flask. Don't know if it's any good or not, but FREE is always good!

Very good project Nullsmurf! Definitely shows that all hygrometers are not created equal. Mine is a western digital and at 65% using Mark's humidi-puck. The "show-off" analog hygrometer is pegged near 80%rh!!

Onyx Belis are my favorite as well. I have had mine with Glenfiddich 12yr and found it to be very complimentary. Haven't tried it with the 15yr, though I suspect nothing major. I am pretty sure now that I will be buying these by the box.
