Not much of a fan of the SLR line. Just too light for me, excepting the double corona. For me, all the flavors really come out in this size. Unfortuneately they are also prone to being seriously plugged. My solution? I keep one of those bamboo skewers from shish kebabs handy. Works for me.

Methinks it is like smoking a CAO Italia. Not a similar taste mind you. Just that both these cigars have a very distinctive taste. They aren't on my short list but I do keep some around.

Local shop has these. They are quite pricey. On another board, the reviews were pretty one-sided against. Aside from all the construction complaints, the taste seems to be hit or miss. At that price I have to pass.

I think you nailed this one pretty good. Not an outstanding smoke, but not really run of the mill, either. Nice for when you want something with good taste that won't sneak up on ya.

I'll throw a twist into this thread. Bought a 5er of uncle mikey's CFB RASS. While not an exact match, amazing similarities. The CFB PSD4 was no slouch either.

Interesting to note lucasbuck's opinion. I also am not a great fan of the Partagas line because, IMO, of it's zipless, bland taste. The two exceptions for me are the PSD4s, which I think are outstanding, and the Presidentes, which seem to have a very distibctive flavor with some oomph. I have...
