Trinidad Robusto Extra. Disappointing smoke. Aromas were really pleasing, but in terms of flavors, just too mild and subdued. I was hoping for more, since the Reyes are such a great little stick.

Coronas, marevas, lonsdales, lanceros, and similar shapes tend to be what I stick with. Not much into the really fat ring gauges that seem to have become very popular.

The Monte bands were changed and the fleur de lis modified at one point though, weren't they?

Doesn't surprise me. Even at a very nice hotel in Aruba, one of the gift shops was selling fauxhibas. I picked up a couple to check out the construction, but I didn't take any photos.

Had something similar on a couple cigars, and it definitely was not mold in my case. Seemed more like dye or something had seeped into the wrappers. Never really figured it out, but they smoked just fine.

After a number of windy and rainy days, finally things let up, and with the temperature nearly hitting 60, I figured today would be a nice day for a relaxing smoke out on the deck. Opening up the humidor, one of these little guys caught my eye. As I hadn't had one in a good 6 or 7 months, now...

I have been known to eat many a bag of dill pickel flavored sunflower seeds over the summer months.

Just lit up one of these from '05 yesterday myself. I really noticed the nuttiness as well, Yoshi, very prevalent. Though still an enjoyable smoke, I found it a little too green for my tastes, so I think the rest are going to be getting a nice long nap.

What celt said, with regard to the Jade Liqueurs absinthes. If you've got money to burn, this stuff is the best around.

I've had issues with packages before, but never anything like that! Talk about shady.

Anything TPC/PC/Corona tends to be the sweet spot for me.

IVs are really fantastic smokes..beware, cause once you try them, you'll probably become addicted. :laugh:
