Are you doing this at work? If so, they may have rules set in their firewall to block this type of traffic. Where I work, all of our outbound traffic has to go through a proxy server. Although Quicktime allows you tunnel through the proxy, I still can't seem to get this to work...:(. Haven't...

The company is legit and they have EXCELLENT customer service. As for that humidor, I know nothing about it. Hint: Sign up for their newsletter, the usually put discount codes to apply to your order. Here's one: KOMP-QSA1HQ. It expired Dec 4th, but who knows, maybe they'll let you use it.
