Some Stonehaven in a Castello "Castello" 3K.

Last night, I had a bowl of Capstan blue in a Ferndown I had just finished cleaning up.  Such a sweet pipe!  Amazing smoker.  

  I was the same way when I started a few months ago.  I'd buy a few tins to find out what I liked.  Even the stuff I didn't like, after a couple of months I would try it again and end up loving it.  A few of my favorites from the different blends are:   Virginia/Perique:  Escudo, Dunhill...

Sounds like they marked it up so they could mark it down. 12oz tin is $32.45 at P&C.

  I store them in mason jars.  I hear that this is a newer make of the old Sobranie, I doubt these are aged tins.  It would be nice if they were.  I'll let you know how it goes, it's received mixed reviews.

I haven't tried it, but there's still no way I would pay that. I'm smoking my second bowl of H&H White Night, and it's amazing. I'm sure I'd be just as happy with this as Stonehaven.

  Thanks Rod -- Peacehaven is slightly different, I hear it's a lot more bitey and burns hotter than Stonehaven.   I've seen that too, just crazy.  Seems some folks buy them up to resell.  I'll be glad when it stops being a hot blend and us normal guys get to try the stuff  ;)

One guy even laughed and said "We haven't had Esoterica in years".  Yet, someone on another forum walks into their B&M and picks up three bags.  Luck of the draw.

Received Gary's package yesterday, and was blown away!  All long and skinnies and all look amazing.  All four are new to me, I can't wait to fire them up.  I'll post photos when I get home tonight  =)    Thanks Gary!!
