Thanks for the review. I thoroughly enjoy the 46 and think it is an excellent smoke. I smoked through my first box and thankfully have not had any draw issues with this size.
Alex,
Mike will be there and I will inquire about the roller. As of now, I haven't heard who will be there. I'll press the issue and post here once I find out.

Much to my chagrin, I just found out from the owner of the shop that Pepin himself will no longer be attending the event. The owner was told that Pepin is not making any appearances over the next 8-12 months based on obligations he has to the factory, etc. A senior roller and the sales rep...
The thread below titled "the world's best bourbon" contains a plethora of suggestions. I am a fan of George Stagg and Baker's neat, maybe a cube or two of ice.

I have only had four or five and I found them to be quite inconsistent. I normally sit mine down for a while but it just so happened that the first one I had I enjoyed quite a bit and tried a few more to find If you have the cash to burn and don't mind putting them down for at least 3 years...
Smoked another LFD Factory Press Limitado last evening and for some reason, it was right on point. I enjoyed all of the other ones I smoked but this one was particularly good. Looking forward to seeing what some real down time on these will do.

Thank you, sir! That's what I get for posting on my blackberry. The date in the message header was correct and now the body has been updated to reflect the proper date, October 24th! Thanks again for pointing this out
Basil Hayden's and Black Maple Hill are excellent mild and light bourbons.
If you are looking for a higher proof and stronger bourbon, you can't go wrong with Booker's.
My favorite is George T. Stagg - it is uncut and unfiltered and not for the weak. It is truly a limited production bourbon...
EDITED to reflect date change!!
Please note that due to scheduling conflicts, the Pepin Garcia event has now been moved to November 14, 2008. The shop has three calls outstanding calls regarding what roller will be at the event, but no call has been returned as of yet.
I realize October is...
Wow, without knowing your tastes, flavor profile preferences and budget, this is virtually an impossible question. That being said, I am smoking an LFD Limitado III and I think these are excellent. Illusione cigars are one of the current buzz cigars that seem to be making big waves. Of course...
Responding to the question of what cigar pairs well with absinthe, I personally find a heavy cigar is preferred so that it can hold its own next to the full flavored absinthe. I generally smoke strong and full-flavored cigars and have found that LFD Factory Press Is, LFD DL Lancero (oscuro) and...
