I don't think so, although I have a vague image of Zep II in a tape box. Have to check. I think I have some homemade Floyd on R2R, but no originals. There was a guy selling what appeared to be quality bootlegs of Floyd out of Russia for a while, including full album art on the boxes etc...

The Pyrat is good. There are certainly better rums out there, but Pyrat is very affordable (I think that bottle was $29), and is very easy to drink. It is slightly sweet and very smooth. A nice change when you don't feel like whiskey.
As I understand it (which is usually wrong), Davidoff acquired Camacho in 2008 from the Eiroa family (Honduras). The Eiroas had owned the company since 1995, when they bought it from founder Simon Camacho. The Eiroas kept their farms in Honduras and sold tobacco to Davidoff. In 2016, the...
Moody Blues, Every Good Boy Deserves Favor. An ode to the early years of any student's music studies (EGBDF) (as all who know will know). A tremendous album. This is an original tape at 7 1/2, and sounds amazing. Note the little "subscription" card still in the box, all yellowed.
I only...
What a fucking week. One more day. Or as Jean Valjean might put it, One day more.
So to begin closing out this sucky week, an Aladino Rubusto Maduro. Bill suggested I try one of these on one of the herfs, to give an idea of perhaps what Camachos used to be like (I like Camachos, but I'm...
You're showing your age. Good luck finding a wingnut on any new(ish) car. Or even an air cleaner.
The dollar bill test works like this: send me a $100 bill, and I'll send you an email telling you your humidor doesn't seal properly. Easy peasy.
Thanks for that very good (and humorous) explanation. Pretty much what I suspected. Not so much a mild/medium person myself anyway. And when I first read CA last year, I thought... "People still act like this?" :/
I reckon I'll save my dollars (to the extent I have any) for something more...
Recently received a Corona Cigars catalog with an order. Wow, I thought I was playing the game pretty high with the stuff I've been ordering. But there's a whole world of cigars I hadn't really been aware of. I mean, I know a little about the history and all (and they now own Camacho, which...
Well, it's like, uh... twice as big?
Seriously, though, I don't know (yet). The 150 is at home, the 300 was delivered to my office. It's pretty much larger. Also has a clear door, which I like (although the black glass on the 150 has its own appeal). I'm guessing won't be...
Same here. I have two Govees in the 150 and a Cigar Oasis stand-alone digital. All have been salt calibrated. I move them around now and then and generally get pretty close readings througout.
That said, I think with this new one I may get one of those Xikar fans and put in it, it's larger...
I guess these are finally shipping. Looks nice. My 150 works well, assuming this one will, too. Seems like they kinda cheaped out on the number of shelves, but I'm hoping the extra drawers may come back on the market soon.
The good news is... now I have room for more smokes!
So the topic came up on a recent herf, of how In The Old Days steakhouses used to have a room specifically for smoking cigars. The deal was, after a group dinner, the Men would retire to the smoking lounge, and the staff would somehow manage to get rid of the Girls (I think they took them to...
Hey Charlie,
Just wondering, do people use the tent sites there for these things? Being a Rugged Individual and all that (and after a few drinks), I can sleep anywhere. Hoping to get in, just trying to plan ahead...
