Good to know.  Some of the reviews I have seen have had mixed reviews.  I think if you drink it on its own merits and do not expect it to be GTS it ends up being a better experience.

I have had their Rum Cask.  It is excellent.  My memory tells me it is was like a well rounded more complex New Castle with a pronounced vanilla finish from the oak.  Really interesting brew.  If you see it definitely give it a go, it will not disappoint. 

Currently enjoying a Newcastle Werewolf.  Really nice brew.  It has the classic New Castle flavor with a red ale kick, medium Bodied and a really enjoyable crisp malty finish.     I'm going to have to get some more.

Just popped the cork on an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof.  I believe this is batch #1 at 134.2 proof.  This is a GREAT bourbon and a fairly unprecedented buy at $39.99.  I only bought 1 bottle and now they are all gone.  Wishing I bough more, if you see this definitely jump on it!

I agree it is pretty cool tinkering with and tweeking the recipes.  Everything that has come out of mine has been excellent definitely fun to experiment and my buddies are always asking what I have on tap.

Its pretty cool.  I run a solerno type barreling where when I have a glass then I refill and tweak it based off what i think it needs.  I rebarrel in glass when I have it just right.  I know others have had mixed success with these but, IMHO the Manhattans and the Negroni's have been really well...
