I have never seen the cigar with the dragon on the label.I thought all Gurkha's came with 2 bands one with the samurai and one below it saying what type.I must be wrong.....very interesting though,Thanks for posting,Bill
Joe,I am with you.The 64 anniversary in maduro is my favorite cigar.Have yet to find anything that compares.Although I have never had a real isom.Problem around Indy is that they are hard to find and a bit pricey when you do find them.Good day,Bill
Just thought I would comment on a cigar that really let me down.I live in an area where Fuente cigars can't be bought at msrp and it is hard to fing them at all.I came across a store that had a half a box of the king B.Presentation would lead you to believe that you were in for a treat.....but...
I usually smoke churchill or bigger and it is rare that a cigar last me more than an hour and fifteen mins. Oddly the padron principe size last me close to an hour. Some of the smaller ones seem to smoke much slower for me....Just my 2 cents,Bill
Lot 826 slow aged was about as bad as it gets.It was the most offensive cigar I have ever smoked.Bitter, harsh and it smelled foul.Perhaps I just got a bad one,but it was bad enough for me to never try again.
Problem with Gurkha id the wrappers fall off all of them. Have pretty much all of Rocky Patel's stuff and some off them split too. Actually have had problems with all of them except Nub and Opus.
Hmm never thought about it till now but seems like all the sticks i get off internet Are the one I...
Boxes! those damn boxes...... I have nearly one hundred of them.I cant seem to throw out a nice box.I may have tp put the harley in the front yard becuase my garage is filled with all these small boxes
Just thought i would let you know that i have tried the Man O war and i love them.I started with a box of coronas and went throuh them in a week. Bought another box of the ruination and they went quickly too. I am now smoking RP double maduro until my Man O war shipment comes in. drop me a...
I purchased a box of Man O War from CI and i must say i think they are great. Also Picked a Rocky Patel sampler. Not crazy about vintage 90 or 92 but the sungrown "sixty" are freakin awesome. IMHO Bill S
I spoke with Cigar Bid today and they said they are insured but will take awhile to put a tracer on package.I still think amm packages should be signed for. I have had many dealings with them with no problems untill now. UPS site says i signed for package. Wasnt me!
I have kept them at 69-70%,I have been told that 70% is the goal. Cigars kept at 65% will still store and smoke properly? And if so what is the lowest acceptable humidity.
also if i put a bowl of RH beads that are new and have never been activated will they still abrorb excess humidity?
sorry if...
they start to split after i have smoked about half way through. My cigars are anywhere from 5 months to 3 weeks old.I would think that 3 weeks should be plenty of time but i must be wrong......
would changing to 65% be somthng to try?
