I just checked mine. It's from Jun 14 and they have the white letteringand insignia. I'm sure someone with a more current box date can clear this up. ETA: From cubancigarwebsite.com. It shows the current band with the gold insignia.

I tried one of the PL Picadores last night (I forgot to check to box code). I didnt care too much for the first third, but the second half was very enjoyable. It showed a lot promise and I think these will benefit from some down time. I'll probably revisit one in six months.

Vegas Robaina Famoso - TEB FEB '10 Some age has done wonders for these. Surprisingly still Med-Full strength and body.

These are the only Monte 4's I've had. I been considering trying a more recent production but just haven't pulled the trigger on them.
