Tatuaje Regio Reserva, just finishing that puppy up. And since it looks like rain tomorrow, I'm thinking about going for broke and also having a Padilla Miami Lancero next, or going with a Tat Havana VI Unico. Decisions, decisions.
Ah, sh*t. I already have a 28 bottle capacity that I bought last summer ... totally full, though it has one rack for my wife's wine. I think I am going to have to get one of these for my tupperware spillover. There seem to be plenty of other Buy It Now auctions @ $59.
Think I'm also going to...
I'm a big fan of THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Great rooms and the pools are also very nice. It's all suites and rooms tend to run around $200 or so, less if you book well ahead and pick a good time to go. Gonna be heading there in mid-August myself. I particularly like the topless beach they have...
Been putting a dent into my bottle of Gosling's dark Bermuda rum with an ice cube here and there. Finally decided to finish the night with the last two fingers I had left of Michter's 10 year rye. Delicious.
I just have to wonder if you're married...
But picture this --- I have an umbrella balanced precariously between the outside wall and the top of the door that leads out to my patio/garden that is currently being inundated with spring rain. I've got my ashtray sitting directly under said...
This is about how long a robusto takes me. Just goes to show: to each his own. I'm smoking a DPG Blue Invicto right now, have been for about 45 minutes and I'm barely to the halfway point.
What's funny is that whenever I'm out drinking with friends my pint glass is usually drained by the time...
Funny, there are a few smokes I have in my collection that make me sneeze whenever I take a whiff. For me it's usually a sniff of an unlit Oliva V or a Pepin Blue. I was amused by your mention of this enough to share my own sneeze-tastic experience.
Thanks for the review. Good stuff.
I remember not really liking the first few Tatuajes I had -- all bought from a couple local B&Ms.
I had an aged Especiales that changed my mind about the line. There's still lots to try for me, but I've found that I prefer the Havana VI line.
Last night had a Tat Regio Reserva while hanging in the backyard with my wife.
Today did some yard work, begrudgingly, with a La Riqueza #2. Later puffed on a DPG Black Robusto after eating a bbq feast. Thinking I may continue my Don Pepin-themed weekend with a Tat Artista later tonight.
Congrats. And allow me to be a contrarian by saying, don't worry about sleep. Take every waking moment you can to enjoy the experience. They grow up fast and every moment is to be cherished. I never felt more like a real human being -- and a kid again -- than after we had our two daughters...
Had a very good cigar weekend. Between Saturday and Monday, in no particular order:
- RASS -- first one I've had, not sure I like the flavor profile, though I didn't hate it. Just tasted a lot like tea and flowers.
- Diamond Crown Maximus Churchill -- excellent smoke
- Illusione cg:4 --...
Funny you should bring this up. I recently saw a six pack of this at my corner store. Being a fairly typical Brooklyn bodega I was surprised to see a Guinness that I'd never heard of and was also not surprised to see that they wanted to charge me $2.25 a bottle for it (I'll let you do the math)...
Lately, it's been whatever is in my humidor. Been having so many bad days at work, I find I'll take whatever I can get. Just wish it didn't take me 20 minutes to decide on which one I'll smoke.
Long week, rough day at work -- the doctor's prescription was skip the TV, sit outside and smoke with a glass of Buffalo Trace. So who am I to argue?
Just finishing up a Cubao #4 and I am seriously sold on this line. I've had some lanceros that I was so-so about (and I love lanceros), but the...
