The only Rye I would buy below $30 is Sazerac 6yr which is excellent. Searching my local's online inventory I see a few others I've never tried like Jim Beam or Wild Turkey Rye in the price range you're looking for. There's another called "RI 1" that just came out a few years ago and is priced...
The past few nights celebrating the Mavs victory:
CCB Nielsbohrium
Surly Abrasive
Jester King Wytchmaker Rye IPA
Green Flash Double Stout
Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin
I've been waiting for this for a long time! I'm still in shock that this actually happened and against a damn good Heat team.
I've been a fan most of my life and really got into them when Dirk was drafted. I was at the game in my half season ticket seat for the Finals in 2006 when they lost...
I personally like to drink DIPAs last so I'd chug the BL Lime and then hit the Darkness followed by the DFH. That DFH brew is awesome stuff BTW...I really enjoyed it.
A massive storm pushed through DFW last night as well and dumped a ton of golf ball to baseball size hail. It hit DFW airport and Love Field and damaged a lot of planes stranding something like 10,000 passengers. There were also some small tornadoes but I have not heard of any major damage...
Thanks for the definition guys. I always wondered if this type of thing was being done on Pokerstars or any other online site. It seems like I never won any money when playing in cash games but I did well in the sit-n-go tournaments. Of course I like tournament style better even when playing...
I haven't been to the Heart Attack Grill yet but I thought 5 Guys was pretty damn good. In-N-Out is good but nothing that special in my opinion...I thought Fat Burger was much better last time we went to Vegas.
Last night while watching Mavs make one of the craziest comebacks I've ever seen:
Bruery Imperial White Orchid - damn tasty witbier and put a hurtin on me
Supposedly you can cash out if you're on Pokerstars. If you go to the cashier it gives you a popup with info on how to cash out. I only had $38 in there but I'm glad I'm getting it back...it says it can take up to 8 days to get it so we'll see what happens.
Arcadia Bourbon Barrel Shipwreck Porter - tasty and it packs a punch at 12% but it was actually a bit on the weak side as far as flavor goes
Nugget Nectar - love this stuff...thanks Mike!
Wow for $20 I would buy 5 bottles. I haven't seen this on sale for a long time. I had to buy it from Shoppers Vineyard and have one bottle hidden in the back of my bar.
I've been meaning to smoke my blind review cigar but my taste buds have been a wreck since getting sick off and on the past few months. The last cigar I had a week ago (Gold Medal) tasted like nothing but straight tobacco. Hopefully I get my taste buds back soon. I can finally taste the...
I can get you on all these sneeds. If the addy in your profile is up to date I'll have this out soon.
My wish:
Tatuaje Black Petite Lancero
Tatuaje Anarchy
Viaje Skull & Bones
Firestone Walker Abacus - Wow this beer is amazing. Tons of toffee, vanilla, and sweet brown sugar with a slight hop balance. Had my head spinning towards the end of the bottle. The only barrel aged barleywine I've had better is Mother of all Storms.
Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA - a decent...
Went to the North Texas Beer Festival last night and had a lot of great brews. Some of the more notable were:
Sam Adams Oak Aged Porter
Sam Adams Chocolate Cherry Bock - Really tasty!
Southern Star Smoked Porter
Live Oak Liberation IPA
I love those beers. So glad they are being distributed to TX now!
Last night I had a few 34oz mugs of Boulevard Wheat at a bar with some friends...not feeling so hot today.
