The brewmaster also stepped down and was replaced by a former brewmaster of Deschutes which also makes extremely good beer. I don't see GI turning into anything bad...in fact they may start brewing even better stuff. Bourbon County is one of my favorite barrel aged stouts so I hope they don't...
Had some good beers Saturday at a DFH tapping event at a bar in Dallas. Got there late and missed out on the Bitches Brew though...
DFH Palo Santo Marron
DFH 90 minute through a Randall with Simcoe hops
Avery Maharaja
Eff I just bought a sampler at CF with a short story maduro that was not cheap. This undermines the rarity of that cigar now...oh well it was for a good cause.
Got the package today...thanks for the excellent selection! That mystery cigar looks dark and tasty. Gonna let it rest a few weeks and hopefully this head cold is gone by then.
So who wants some now?
You can buy tickets here but they're charging outrageous prices. I definitely don't condone this type of thing and 3 Floyds should have known this would happen by closing off the party to just ticket holders...

Yup I was going to buy a few tickets and have someone pick up the beer for me but I decided against it. Right after they sold out there were 16+ trade threads on BeerAdvocate looking for tickets. I bet a lot of them show up on ebay....
edit: spelling
They are releasing Imperial Stout in the next few weeks according to the facebook page. They did post that they weren't sending any to TX though. Shafted again......
Saison Brett is set to return this summer as well...that's all I know of.
I like DFH 90 minute as an occasional balanced DIPA but other than that I don't buy their stuff. Bitches Brew was damn tasty though! I highly recommend that one if you like Ten Fidy.
Edit: I've been sick the past week and haven't had a beer in as long. My taste buds are slowly starting to...
Seriously dude...there's a thread halfway down the page about these. The search function at the top of the page works wonders when you're looking for info about all these topics you've been posting lately.
Tyranena Shaggin' in the Wood - decent scotch ale but not much barrel influence which is odd since it's 70% aged in barrels
2009 Stone RIS - damn this has aged well...this was my last one so I'll have to age my 2010 one till this time next year
