I saw they were having that event in Durant and wanted to check it out but I totally forgot about it. Oh well...sounds like you had a good time. Did you place in the money at all? I'm guessing with 900 people you at least got your buy-in back...
We're having a dose of good weather around here lately so yesterday I had a Bolivar that was awesome...I think it was the PC.
Right now I'm smoking a Tatuaje Havana VI Aristas with at least 3 years of age on it and it's pretty good. I think I prefer these fresh though...the flavors are bit...
Yeah I drank both the bottles you sent...great oatmeal stout. I have a few more from my last trade with Mike as well that will be drank in the next few weeks. Cheers to you both!
Tyranena Doubly Down 'n Even Dirtier - I bought 8 and only have 2 left...most of which have gone out to other people. Super rich chocolate flavors with a slight barrel element in there.
Happy birthday, bro! Enjoy those beers...that BA Winter Warmer is great stuff.
I had a few awesome beers tonight.
Foothills Baltic Porter - great porter that wasn't too crazy but had solid flavors of dark fruit and roasty coffee plus some chocolate.
Weyerbacher Tiny - amazing Belgian Imperial...

FiftyFifty Imperial Eclipse Stout aged in Heaven Hill Rye barrels - This is the 2010 version which is much fresher than the 2009 version I had a few months ago. The rye is much more prevalent in this one...very tasty.

Tonight:
2009 Bourbon County Stout - Damn this has matured nicely. I have a nice 3 year vertical going and can't wait to compare them all when the 2011 version comes out later this year.
Boulevard Double Wide IPA - Very tasty though not my favorite DIPA
Rahr Iron Thistle Scotch Ale - Decent...
Santa Fe Brewing Kickin' Chicken Bourbon Barrel Barleywine- pretty damn good and gave me a decent buzz with the 12% alcohol
Bell's Two Hearted - ugh I love this IPA and wish we could get it here in TX...alas this is my last bottle until I can get more
