    Latest Cigar Box Project

Easy to fix, just buy some tubing just big enough to fit over the "allthread" (plastic or copper), cut it to length and hide inside the cigar tube. Use a jam nut in the box below the cigar tube, and one above the tube. edit to clarify

    iPass Jazz Pass & Vine

Musical Enlightenment... Sounds like a cool idea! I would like to be included, BUT I will be working out of town again through the middle of February. If you think we can work around this, then I am game. I'll try to keep in touch while I am in St Louis and let you know my status. I don't...

    Any Geocachers here?

I think my wife and I will go out tomorrow as well. There are several local caches that we passed on this summer because of poison ivy, that should not be a problem now. I hate poison ivy, if I get anywhere close to it I break out. I got it 3 different times this summer. Happy caching!

    Do you do backups?

I use a Western Digital external drive with Dantz Retrospect software for my laptop. I just back up the whole drive on a regular basis as the external has much more capacity than the laptop. Retrospect isn't the best software, no incremental backups are possible with the version I have. It is...

Thanks for backing out :D As stated in an earlier post, it will be a display piece. It's probably dry as hell in that can anyway. Link to my previous post.

    Calling all bitheads

I have the same problem... I bought a different enclosure, but same symptoms, lights are on, but nobody is home. My guess is that my drive while being an ata 100 in fact needs an ide interface or some sh*t like that. I thought they were interchangeable, but... I haven't had the time to keep...

    Thank you MilesMingusMonk

This thread is interesting... It was only within the last few years that my "musical horizons" were widened, thanks in part to my (now 20 year old) son. He introduced me to Frank, Dean and the boys. He also got me interested in the "Big Band" sound via Brian Setzer (a bit of a stretch). I've...

    Is it just me?

It seems like the newer version of software is slower than before the upgrade. Noticeably. Also, I got a "Internal Server Error" screen a few minutes ago as I was trying to refresh the new posts list.

    Rocky Balboa

I am looking forward to seeing it. I have always enjoyed the Rocky films, I am sure that this one will be no different. I saw where Sly is also about to or is filming a new First Blood movie as well, I will be looking forward to it as well. Speaking of old guys, I also see where Harrison Ford...

Full tin of 1910 tobacco on Ebay

Ummm, chances are IF I have the winning bid, that it will just go on display never to be opened. Something kind of cool about having a 100 year old can of tobacco around. I'll stick it with the White Owl box from 1953 that I got from Secret Santa last year, and a White Owl tin from the same era...

    Consuegra bundles

I have had mixed results. In general Connies have been OK. I have bought a number of bundles, however the last bundle I bought I have had to throw away as many as I have smoked. Rolled way way to tight, I think you could pop a vein trying to get a draw of of some of them. That being said, they...

Where does everyone's name come from?

I got the root of mine years ago when I first signed on to a BBS system (The Game Room 1200bps! 665-GAME). I signed on with some dumbass name and the sysop (who I went to school with, but I didn't know that at the time) popped in and suggested Gandolf. HE mis-spelled it, not me, but it stuck. My...
