Where do you find out about cigar gatherings, or herfs? I did a quick google search for anything that happens in California, or around my surrounding area, and came up with ziltch. Just trying to figure out what the closest one to me would be, if it's close at all.
Wow, I just bought an SV Colibri cutter. Received it in the mail yesterday. Paid 89 for it. It was a good deal compared to what I'd been seeing. Now I see it for 35 bucks. Ouch...
Thanks for the link.
I swear I searched for the Colloidal Silver before I made the post. I didn't see what I was looking for, I'll check out the link. Thanks!
I did search. I used the search term Collodial Silver. It turned up posts about using it, but not about strength or anything like that.
I figured there was probably a post about my question somewhere, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I created a post.
Sorry, if I created...
I've seen talk about nano collodial silver used to wipe down cigars and so forth for mold issues.
When I go on Amazon and do a search there are many different types, and different strengths.
What strength would you recommend (PPM?) and is there a preferred brand most cigar guys go with, or as...
I've read on some other forums, and blogs, that many people don't seem to have problems. They keep the humidity as the right level, and not really worry about the temp (inside) and they say they never had any problems.
One person did say, after 5 years, he got a box and beetles hatched. But that...
Depends on where in the house I put it. The only logical place to put it in the house, would be in my room (75-85F) during the summer. Or maybe the spare bedroom which would be a little cooler. Probably low 70's F.
Ideally, I would need to keep it my room. I have a few bagged up overflow cigars...
Lol... 🤣🤣 Ok, Ok....
I will definitely be working on my caution, and my exuberance! I think there will still be those days when I fail, but I hope to minimize though days.
That is spacious. The only thing I wonder about though is how do you keep the inside of it cool enough for the cigars?
I have the wineador because it has active cooling. Not sure how I would keep the cooler at the right temp.
Lol, now that you show me that, I remember reading that. I guess I didn't hear him, huh?? :D
:D
However, I sure as hell believe him now! I will try to heed these warning a little better from now on.
It was a toss up between what forum to post this. Since, I have another post to make, it is more likened to the humidor forum. So, I'll place this one here since, although border line, it's more about what I did, not the humidor itself.
I noticed that in my wineador that the temperature was off...
I bought a PerfecDraw off Amazon. Used it on another CAO Mx2 and it worked great. The only thing I didn't like was the initial tobacco grit, dust, or whatever it was, that I sucked out of it the first few draws. Other than that, it worked like a charm! Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't know...
I thought it was a fantastic smoke! To be honest it's one of the best cigars I've smoked to date (which doesn't say much due to my being new to cigars).
It was very smooth. It didn't seem like a full bodied smoke to me. More of a subtle medium body smoke. Flavor was great. Very smooth smoking.

I love reading. The last year or so I haven't found much time to read like I used too. I'm hoping to remedy that because I really miss reading. I'm going to try getting some reading in while I have a cigar in the evening.
I also enjoy writing. Short stories, essays, and novels. Haven't actually...
Well, at the moment I feel some what like an idiot... 😒😔
I thought the perfect draw was a cigar. Now I realize you were referring to a tool...!! I will definitely check it out still 😀but at least it won't take up any space in my humidor 🤣🤣
I'll check it out! I have to be somewhat selective at the moment. I have run out of room in my humidor. I didn't think I would, but it actually didn't take me long to fill it up and now I have an overflow bag in a different, cooler, room.
