Well, I picked up a box of these Tabak Especial Toro Negra on CigarBid. Have heard good things but never smoked one of these before. The coffee infused flavor sounded interesting.
Anyone have any feedback on these?

So I decided to start with your lowest ranking. Smoked the Michael tonight. I have to say I was expecting to be disappointed but I actually enjoyed it. I do tend to like milder cigars, and I am not very big on picking up different notes to be honest. Overall it had a nice draw, a lot of smoke...
What a heartwarming post. People don't realize that cigars are not just something to smoke, like a cigarette. Cigars are an experience. Some are good some are bad. Some bring back happy memories, some bring back sad memories. I am so glad you got to experience a friendship with Brian and...
Joe,
This was an awesome thread to read through. I just got my box and haven't smoked any yet. I am nto sure yet if I will smoke in the order they came in the box or your ranking order lowest to highest :)
Looking forward to them either way.

On the Zoom last night we were talking about nubbers and I mentioned that I bought these cool items from Cigar Dagger.
The two that I have are
The Fire Breather
and
The Forgotten King
We went on their website to discuss the different versions they have and everyone seemed to be...
I used to smoke the Gol! quite a bit. Over time I found that the draw was very inconsistent and I had many that were hard to draw. Not big deal to poke something through, but I had too many other cigars that enjoyed more. They are also on the stronger side as my tastes developed. I never really...
Sorry about the late reply, I missed this. I have a roof over my deck so it gets some rain when it is a really bad storm and the snow comes in through the sides, but so far the brass has held up great outside.
I have tried most of the cuts over the years. I used to love the punch, but for a long time now I have been using the V-cut. I find it is a nice clean cut. I do not believe there is any impact to the strength of a cigar based on the cut, at least I have never noticed any. There are other things...
My favorite daily smoke is a Punch Rothschild Double Maduro. They are fairly inexpensive, around $3.50/ea, come in boxes of 50 and are on the mild side but with a nice oily maduro wrapper. I always have a few boxes in my humidor.

Depends what your tastes are. Partagas Serie D #4 is still one of my all time favorites. I used to love Monte #2 but the quality control has really gone down hill. I also really like a Bolivar Royal Corona.
If you had Corona and this only happened after that, then it could be either your taste/smell has not fully returned or it has changed since the virus. I am not a doctor, just my opinion. I would go see your doctor and discuss
I used to hate the cello, jsut seemed annoying :) I have some pretty old cigars in the humidor and when I take the cello off you can see the brown color on the cello. To me that means the oils when aging are just staying in the cello and making the cigar even better
I have been smoking cigars for over 25 years and I still don't understand how people do this. My Uncle used to smoke while riding his motorcycle, and I have friends that can just keep the cigar in their mouth the hole time. I just don't get it. I end up like you said by getting a nose full of...
