Went to a couple local shops looking for a few things. Couldn't just walk by the walk-in humidor without taking a walk through..
.. or 5 or 6 times 😀
Anyways picked up a few smokes for the week, while I wait for my purchases in the mail. There both the same, not sure which is easier to see.
Yeah, things got away from last night. I sat back in bed to relax for a few and ended up just falling asleep. It's been a hell of a week at work, glad it's finally over.
I enjoyed logging in and hanging out with everyone. I'll have to hop in more often. Thanks for inviting me!
Hi!
I am checking out travel humidors as something to maybe invest in at a later date. Trying to do my homework now, so I have an idea of how much I'm looking at.
I see much talk about the Herf a Dor. I started looking them over. They actually don't seem to have very many "good" reviews. I...
Yeah, I just responded to a similar post.
I totally get that and didn't even think about it from that perspective until it was mentioned. Sorry if I tried to jump to the front of the line if you will.
I'll try to think of things from that perspective more often with my questions. I'm not going...
That's fair enough. I didn't think of it that way actually. No hard feelings from me, I totally understand. I'm still in the proving grounds, not a problem. I hope to make everyone comfortable with me and get accepted into the fray some day!
Ok, I'll stop by and check them out.
I've been stuck on Diesel cigars lately. I've really been enjoying the Wicked line I picked up. I bought a Diesel sampler from one site, and picked up a Diesel something cocktail line. Felt I received a fair price, on sale.
I also just picked up a 5 pack of...
Hello,
I was just curious where people tend to buy their cigars, more specifically, online.
I've been buying from cigar international, and cigar com, and then a few singles from my local shop. I feel like I've had some good deals from those sites and since I'm on a budget I check out their...
Oh, I completely agree! Not even in the same basket.
I just have that feeling is all I'm saying. I know there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but for some reason I feel like I should hide that I'm having a cigar at 8am, or even earilier :)
Why morning, out of curiosity? Just the time of day you usually have available to sit and enjoy for a length of time? Some other reason?
I find myself wanting to light up in the morning a lot on my day off. Not that there is anything wrong with it I know, but it feels like drinking in the...
Ah, the fourth of July. America's birthday...
It's 8am here. Is it too early to light one up? Do cigars have the adage it's 5:00 somewhere rule as well?
Jesus, 20 or so minutes later it's jumped up to about 64-65% with that water in the wineador.....
So how long should I keep it in there? After I take out the glass of distilled water, will the humidity be retained by the Boveda packs?
So, about 15 hours after putting in the Boveda packs, I'm sitting at around 56-57%. That's with 2 69% Boveda packs.
Should I give it more time to humidify, or should I throw another Boveda pack in for a total of 3?
No, I follow you. I was asking more that would the cigars still be humidifier if they were enclosed in the cigar box? Or if both boxes would need to be fully opened, or just propped open.
One more question... I know I'm full of them 😀
If I put cigars in the bottom cigar box, will they be ok and still get humidity with top over them?
Or should I put a tab or somethjng to lift the top box off of the bottom one? And take the lid off the bottom one?
