Thoughts on opus X price gouging?

They're still accurate. I shop at Holt's since I am fortunate enough to live about 20 minutes from their mail order distribution center's showroom. Any time they have Opus X, which is usually year-round, it's always at MSRP and I have not seen any difference between my receipts and the prices...

    Cohiba Maduros in 2007 !

I hope they introduce these is new sizes. I would love to see a reg production maduro DC. On the other hand, I would hate to see the price tag on a reg production maduro DC.

    Fin du Monde

It's funny, but the french influence is probably a partial contributor to their excellent quality beers. Since these are Belgian in style and Belgium is so heavily influenced by the French. I prefer the Trois Pistoles myself.

Looking for a good summer drink?

When preparing for outside festivities, a Scream and Go Naked would be better than that mix. In order to make this "punch", First, empty one whole 30 pack of beer into an empty cooler. Next, empty one liter of vodka into the cooler. Finally, stir in lemonade mix to taste. Stir and surve over...

God of Fire Double Robusto 2005 by Carlito

Thanks for the praise... a little wgo boost goes a long way. I let mine rest completely closed in the coffin and I don't think it would make a huge amount of difference. If I knew where to get more, I'd definately have to bite.

God of Fire Double Robusto 2005 by Carlito

I picked this cigar up about 6 months ago when they were freshly released. I balked at paying $22.00 for a single cigar, but I figured that I may never have another opportunity to smoke one. Seeing as how 6 months have gone by and I haven't seen another one, I am glad that I got it. Fast...

    Headed to Philly

Right above Holt's is Mahoganny, a nice cigar bar with an excellent SM and Bourbon menu. Crowd is pretty old, but the place is outstanding (good fod too).

    Bad experience with first Anejo

Just reading the title of this thread, I knew what my response would be. DEFINATELY try again! These are excellent cigars though I have had similar experience. My first 2 were not good but since I had bought so many when I first found them, I was "forced" into continuing through them. I was...

    Bolivar Coronas Gigantes - 1997

From all of the problems you had, I'd say '86 is generous. I've only had one of these (it wasn't that old) and I loved it. Sorry to hear that this one was crappy.

    Vodka

Having tended a country club bar for 3 years, I can tell you that there are a certain number of grievances and annoyances that have irked me for some time, but none greater than this! I WILL NOT make a Grey Goose apple martini. I WILL NOT make a Grey Goose cosmo (doesnt even make any freakin...

    Padrón Millennium Maduro review

Man, first the fake f/s post and now this gets bumped?! Is there a freakin conspiracy around here to screw with my emeotions?! BAH! By the end of the week, I'll be trembling in the fetal position mumbling something about Don Kikis...

    Tatuaje RC 233 review

That's the first review I've ever seen that was exactly 2 words longer than the cigar it was for. Did you enjoy it?!

    Never smoked an Anejo

Andrew, you know I'm really gonna dig deep into my heart here and offer up something that I wouldn't do, normally, but I will offer you AT A RATE OF 1 TO 1... for some of those crusty, old, Opus maddies. I know... you don't have to thank me... I'm sure that someday, my benevolent acts will be...

    Padron 1926 #35s

Holt's has 'em for 10 bucks. It's pretty safe to assume that that is MSRP.
