Damn it good question.
I'm going with the 2015 Crowned Heads Las Calaveras. Based on the 2014 release, the hype was off the charts and I should have known better than to buy 3 boxes.
It's good....just not 3 boxes good.
Also, that Damaso is a close second.
With 2015 coming to a close, I'm curious as to what CP members feel was their top release of 2015? Please post only 2015 releases if possible and not older cigars you may have been holding onto for years and just got around to lighting up in 2015.
My top spot goes to Tatuaje's TAA 2015, which...
Oh yes. Got them in mail yesterday and smoked one last night.
Flavor profile is very enjoyable (based on my preferences) but too "choppy" and rough around the edges for me. Every draw felt like I was smoking 2-3 different sticks at once ( yes, I have done drunk ). Blasts of cedar, cocoa, earth...
FDA deeming regulations would affect ALL tobacco related products including cigars, cigarettes, E-cigs and even hookahs. The magnitude of the proposed regulations could change cigar smoking as we know it. By waiving their bureaucratic hand, the FDA can eliminate all cigars blends which have come...
I swore I'd never chase another Crowned Heads release since getting caught up in the Las Calaveras and La Imperiosa craze of 2015, but the Las Mareas release is shipping to select retailers this week.
To fuel the fire, Half-wheel.com claims this CH release to be as "cubanesque" as they have ever...
I've tried all four different Oscars, the Connie, Corojo, Sumatra and Maduro wrappers. I think the Sumatra was my fav with the Connie being the least. It's a pretty one dimensional stick but enjoyable non the less. Cedar, wood, and earth with average smoke production and draw. Your Basic profile...
I'm having a bitch of a time tracking these down. Saw a box go up on eBay for $400 and by the time my coffee got cold it was gone. Singles are running 3X above MSRP in the one place I have seen them in stock.
Put me down for the Lusi's .
Even fairly young ones are smoking great and IMO their creamy flavor profile puts them ahead of the Monticristos in term of aging. Funny, just a few months ago I also wanted a special, special occasion smoke to celebrate milestones. Decided to pull the trigger on a...
MGM Cigars is "headquartered" in Miami of course. The address comes back to a residence. I'm going to stop snooping at this point as I don't want to ruin the mystique....or I can knock on the door and invite myself in.
Never too late for good advice.
Im currently going the route you mentioned and have emptied if out completely. Letting it air out for a few days then going back to step one.
Thanks for the input.
One of my vendors has it in stock for $217 USD. Transit times to the states for this particular vendor very greatly between 4 to 6 weeks. Wasn't sure how quickly you need them. DM me if you need more information
