I had one that looked like a corona gorda. Had some serious strength but also had nice flavor and a toasty type finish. I enjoyed it. Certainly a cigar after a big meal or end of the day. :)
It cuts very well and the large end of the punch cuts a very big hole. Excellent for those larger ring gauge cigars. It also has a rod to push out the spent cap of the cigar. My only caveat would be not to keep it on your key chain as the whole thing is held together magnetically and it could...
I truly wish that were the case but their mo has always been to use what is convenient to them even if they know the data is flawed. :( Hopefully with organizations like IPCPR and CRA will use their lobbyists to get the the politicians to see things objectively. I wonder if that too is...
Just wanted to give a heads up to any Hawaii BOTL's or visitors from out of town about the 3rd Annual "No Joke Smoke". It will be held at Nico's at Pier 38 on April 1st. Come down and enjoy some great cigars, ono grinds, scotch tasting, and great company. For more info check out the link...

I heard Excalibur was good but havent been there..will be sure to check it out next time Im in town. Hoffers is a new one I havent heard of. Will have to add that to the list too.

If I had a shop, thats how I would do it. No "sitting fee" but you do have to purchase something and support the business before sitting down to smoke. A couple of years ago, I went to a shop in San Marcos, CA that had a policy that you could only smoke the cigar you bought in the store. I...
Dave,
Now Im really jonesing to go to LV. I missed last summer due to the furloughs coming down the pipe. Hopefully next summer. Did you check out that rhumbar place? Any other cigar friendly places you came across?
I would recommend pipesandcigars.com They have bulk blends from all the major companies and their own bulk blends (Hearth and Home Series blended by Russ Ouellette) that are excellent. I very much enjoy their burley kake!
Thats really good to hear. I recall a long time back some of the locals that I had met said that place wasnt very friendly. Glad to see things have changed for the better! Dave...did you grab a double double animal style right next door?
