I had no idea they were only smoking the first inch. That's utterly stupid. I've gotten such unbelievably different flavors from within the same cigar (not to mention you can notice fill and binder issues) from the first to the final third.

Same here, but I also smoke Oliva Serie V and Serie V Melanios on occasions that I'm smoking NC sticks. They're incredible. Padrons are great as well.

I largely agree, but if you compare cigars to the wine industry, for example, they have several benchmark reviewers like Robert Parker, James Suckling, Jancis Robinson, even if you think their reviews aren't very good, which I frequently do. I would do try that with CA, but they don't do nearly...

Thank you. Among other things, I think the thing I'm mainly looking for is a complete rundown for a particular brand (e.g. all of the Bolivars for '23), and it's hard to find something like this because it's all individual sticks from a variety of different years.
