    Help me choose a humidifier

If you close the lid of the humidor on a dollar bill, and you are able to remove said bill withoit lifting the lid or tearing the bill, you have a poor seal. If the seal is good, you have one less dollar. It's been many years since Canada has had a bill less than a $5. Too expensive for a test...

    Kudos to Pugman!

Was it a bomb, or a deal? I agree on the bad form if it was a bomb, but if he gave Ed $x and said "buy me something with that" it's a different story. Not sure if the OP clearly states that. Edit: looks like the OP was edited to clarify it wasn't a bomb, and I hadn't re-read it.

    Another Cooledor Converter

Depending on how much of a plastic smell there is in the cooler, you may want to buy it and do the work so it's ready when your shipment arrives. Keep in mind the cedar trays may not be seasoned when they arrive so you may have to keep a close eye on the RH for a few days. Good job on the...

    BBQ / grilling forums

Of course I had considered the CP Chefs subforum, but I was looking for one that may be a little more dedicated to grilling and BBQ. Surgery

Hope you have a quick recovery! My co-worker just had that done around Christmas time. He took a month off of sick/vacation time to ease his recovery. I think his doctor told him to not lift anything over 20 pounds for that month.

How to keep my port wine in a good shape?

I think you might be missing a step in there... port isn't just taken from the barrel early, it's fortified with brandy part way through the fermentation process. The increased alcohol content creates an environment that stops the yeast from consuming the sugar left in the wine, and it acts as a...
